Translational Health Services

Our research strategy is strongly aligned with the NHMRC National Dementia Research and Translation Priority framework (NHMRC 2015) which addresses 5 key domains, living with dementia, prevention, assessment and diagnosis, intervention and treatment and care.

Care for people living with dementia is at the centre of our research strategy and ultimately underpins all streams of our Health Services Research. Through our program we seek to engage in innovative research within complex care environments, in partnership with people living with dementia, their carers, aged care facilities, the community, and organisations which are attuned to the need for quality care that supports quality of life.
