Key to Tasmanian Dicots

Calyptrocolea (Adelanthaceae)

In Tasmania, Calyptrocolea is represented by three species. All these species were previously included under Adelanthus.

As with the closely related Adelanthus, the sporophyte arises from the base of the plant and is unprotected by a perianth.

Calyptrocolea falcata is the most common species. The other two species are rare or perhaps overlooked.

A key to the Tasmanian species of Calyptrocolea is being developed.
