Hygrolembidium is represented by
a single and uncommon species in Tasmania, H. acrocladum.
H. acrocladum may resemble
Solenostoma
but the stems of H. acrocladum are fleshy and brittle.
The underleaves are unlobed and are very small and hard to see except
under a microscope.
