Eotrichocolea is represented by
Eotrichocolea polyacantha in Tasmania, a small and uncommon
leafy liverwort. It usually grows among
other bryophytes and may be easily overlooked.
E. polyacantha may be distingushed from
Leiomitra and
Trichocolea by its exposed
stems and diminutiveness.
