Phacelia tanacetifolia
is the only member of this family in Tasmania. It is a robust weed of cultivated
ground, and the only representative of this family in Tasmania. The
leaves are pinnate to bipinnate, and the inflorescence is a one
sided terminal cyme that uncoils like a fern frond. The
inflorescence resembles that of many Boraginaceae.
