Distinguishing features: "Myrtle" The dominant rainforest tree in most of Tasmania. Sometimes extends as a shrub into alpine areas. The leaves are dark green opposite, 0.4 - 2.5 cm long, relatively broad, with whitish glandular dots on the surface.
