This mathematics pathway project represents a Community of Practice (CoP) between the VET providers, the Higher Education institutions and all stakeholders involved in this project. This includes both the contributors and users of the mathematics pathways for Engineering, Education and the remaining disciplines to be developed.
The aim of this CoP is to create and maintain pathways for VET qualified students entering into the University systems in a number of disciplines which are highly dependent on a high level of mathematics skills. The CoP will provide feedback to improve these pathways to higher education by using a learning-value framework based on the Wenger-Trayner model.
