The Emu Hunters expedition re-connects Mannalargenna the following year (1831) when his intimate knowledge of Country is called upon by Robinson and he is returned to the Tasmanian mainland to assist in finding members of a neighbouring clan who, despite their best efforts, Robinson and his guides have been unsuccessful in locating. The expedition follows Mannalargenna and Robinson’s group on the journeyline in quest of these clanspeople (the emu hunters), concluding when they have been located and drawn into Robinson’s company.
