Join the legendary Dr Karl Kruszelnicki for a wild ride through surviving a blizzard in Antarctica (barefoot), test-driving four wheel drives across the Simpson Desert, the reality of beer goggles, and how he helped bring the word ‘selfie’ into the English language. Along the way, revisit Dr Karl’s glorious television past, from TV weather reports to Play School appearances.
Dr Karl Kruszelnicki is a science communicator, author, and broadcaster whose decades across radio, television, and print have made him one of Australia’s most recognisable science voices. A physicist and engineer, he has built a career answering delightfully odd questions.
MC, Caitlin Silberberg, is drawn to the weird animals most people avoid. Caitlin Silberberg is studying Tasmania’s endangered giant freshwater crayfish and the rivers they call home. Growing up in remote Tasmania turned a childhood spent flipping rocks and exploring creeks into a career helping protect one of the island’s most remarkable species.
