Join us for a free nursing experience event at the University of Tasmania in Launceston.
Many of our Nursing students are adults returning to study after years in the workforce. Some work in aged care, disability support, community services or other caring professions. Others are looking for a meaningful career change.
At the event you'll have the opportunity to experience a real nursing class simulation, explore our facilities and speak directly with current nursing students who understand what it's like to start university as an adult learner.
At the event, you'll be able to:
* tour our nursing simulation spaces
* take part in hands-on learning activities
* learn more about the Bachelor of Nursing
* meet current adult-learner students and nursing staff
* find out about professional experience placements, scholarships and study costs
* Access application support if you’re ready to take the next step, or need help with your existing application.
Can't make it? We have an alternative evening session at 5:30pm - 7:30pm, Wednesday, 26 August 2026
