The UTAS Conservatorium is delighted to present a program of works for brass ensembles performed by visiting artists from West Texas A&M University – all the way from Canyon, Texas.
Led by Director Dr Guglielmo Manifred and composer Dr BJ Brooks, the ensembles consist of a tertiary student brass quintet and staff quintet, and will present a variety of works by both American and Australia composers. The artists appear on tour as part of an on-going connection with The Friends’ School, Hobart.

Please arrive between 12:30pm - 12:45pm via the University of Tasmania entrance to the building on 19 Collins Street Hobart. - Accessible Facilities
The Recital Hall is located on the ground floor with level access from Collins street. - Mask requirements
Mask wearing is an individual choice, however UTAS strongly recommends that masks be worn in indoor settings, particularly where physical distancing cannot be maintained. - Patrons please be advised, unauthorised photography, audio and video recordings strictly prohibited in this venue.
