DAVID THOMAS: IMPERMANENCES ( CHANGING ) is an exhibition of photopaintings,  wall painting and small scale paintings by Melbourne based artist and academic David Thomas.

Thomas' use of colour, matter, installation,  painting and photography offer ways of negotiating our understanding of being, time and impermanence in a changing world.

The exhibition is specifically developed for the Plimsoll Gallery and builds on recent exhibitions including: David Thomas Colouring Impermanence; The Conditions Of Change. RMIT Design Hub, Melbourne(2017), Impermanent Durations ICA. Singapore, (2016) and Impermanences Minus Space NYC, USA, (2016) and When A Still Painting Shows Us That We Are Moving,  Tristian Koenig Gallery, Melbourne, (2015).
