Displacement, repair, and the painted collage.

The painting by Jo Chew depicts two people walking in the bush with houses made of plastic over their heads and body. Your can only see their feet. They are situated in the middle of the painting, you can see a large tree in the foreground on the right side.   The colours and not realistic, the sky is an orange peach colour and the ground is off white.

A studio-based investigation of the precarity of home.
