Summary:Ready to build your skills and confidence to apply for hospitality jobs? Join the Student Careers & Employability Team and the Tasmanian Hospitality Association for a free, hands-on training session.
You'll use a real commercial espresso machine, learn from professional instructors, and make drinks you can enjoy on the spot. No experience needed!
What You'll Learn
- Two 2-hour, hands-on workshops, plus a session with the Careers Team:
Barista Essentials (2 hours): Learn how coffee is made, from extraction to milk texturing, and how to use a commercial espresso machine. - Mocktail Mixology (2 hours): Learn to balance flavours, pour drinks like a professional and create your own premium mocktails (non-alcoholic drinks).
- Careers Session (1 hour): Get practical tips from the Student Careers & Employability Team on showing your new skills on your resume and feeling confident applying for hospitality roles.
