Summary:Experience the rich and surprisingly versatile sound of the Tasmanian Trombone Choir in this final lunchtime concert in the 2026 series.
Led by Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra trombonist Jackson Bankovic, this exciting ensemble brings together community players and professional musicians in a program spanning styles and sound worlds.
The concert showcases everything the trombone family has to offer, both expected and unexpected – from Beethoven to Václav Nelhýbel and Frank Ticheli. The concert also features solo and duo performances by Jackson Bankovic and fellow TSO trombonist, James Littlewood.
