This public concert showcases the talented finalists competing for the prestigious Ossa Musical Performance Prize, a University of Tasmania award that celebrates excellence in musicianship and performance across musical styles and generously provided by alumnus Dr Rod Roberts and Mrs Cecile Roberts.
Audiences will enjoy a diverse program of outstanding performances, with each finalist presenting a carefully selected musical offering that demonstrates their skills, creativity and potential. The evening will culminate in the announcement of the 2026 Ossa Music Prize recipient, along with the awarded prize the recipient will receive additional financial support for a state-wide performance tour across regional Tasmania in November.
