Ian Potter Recital Hall, The Hedberg, entrance at 19 Collins Street Hobart
Summary:The Hedberg Ensemble perform works from the Baroque to the present in this varied program of orchestral, wind ensemble and large chamber works.
Beginning with Mouret’s famous Rondeau, the Fanfares et Symphonies provides a rousing and celebratory opening to the concert.
Following on The Hedberg Ensemble will perform modern works of Steven Bryant and Tasmanian Composer, Karlin Love, alongside the Clarinet Concertante by Backofen. This rarely played work will be performed by student clarinettists, Hannah Bhullar and Reuben Allen.
Finally, they will conclude with Ernst Tomlinson’s wonderful first suite of English folk songs.
