Strengthening and supporting the rural pharmacy workforce: developing strategies to reduce violence in pharmacy

The aim of this project was to minimise the incidence and consequences of violent incidents in community pharmacy. An online training module helped to give owner and employee pharmacists the necessary skills, resources and protocols to avoid or handle violent incidents.

This project was funded by the Department of Health and Ageing via the Pharmacy Guild of Australia Rural Pharmacy Workforce Program Small Projects Scheme.
