Farewell to Joe Hutchinson

Today is the last day that our friend and colleague, Joe Hutchinson, will be with us at ACROSS.

Joe has been with ACROSS for over 10 years, through both PhD and post-doctoral research. Most recently an ARC Postdoctoral Research Fellow, he has been involved in obtaining extensive funding, supervising graduates, and has published over 20 refereed journal articles.

Joe's vast body of work has included pre-concentrating small ions using various stationary phases in capillary electrophoresis (CE), developing automated solid-phase microextraction systems, and developing portable CE instrumentation for post-blast identification of explosive residues.

We are proud to have worked with Joe, and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
