Appointment of President of Tasmanian Branch ANZFSS

Associate Professor Roberta Julian was recently appointed as the President of the Tasmanian Branch of the Australian and New Zealand Forensic Science Society (ANZFSS). This appointment also gives her a position on the National Council of ANZFSS.

Associate Professor Julian was the Lead Chief Investigator of the five year project 'The Effectiveness of Forensic Science in the Criminal Justice System', and has been engaged in collaborative research exploring where and how forensic services can add value to police investigations and court trials.
