Presenting at the Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs Council Conference in Hobart

Associate Professor Roberta Julian, Dr Isabelle Bartkowiak-Theron and Dr Jackie Hallam (ATDC) delivered a presentation at the ATDC 2016 Conference 'Rethinking Prevention: a broader agenda', organized by the (ATDC) Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs Council of Tasmania, Hobart, on 12-13 May. Their presentation 'Exploring Law Enforcement and Public Health (LEPH) as a collective impact initiative in the AOD sector', addressed issues emerging from their extensive research and collaboration with local, national and international agencies.

At the conference, the University of Tasmania was very well represented by several other researchers presenting their topics over two days. The conference was well attended, and provided a foundation for networking with various organizations, universities and law agencies, to discuss how support, prevention and interventions are provided in the current environment and into the future.
