In this seminar, Dr Kristy Martire gave a talk on legal and scientific understandings of ‘expert’ performance and its alignment, and about the disconnect between legal and scientific definitions of expertise in the context of forensic science expert evidence. The seminar attracted a mixed audience from academia, government and private organisations.
