TILES Director Joins Tasmanian Roundtable Discussion on ‘Racism. It Stops with Me’

roundtable discussionTILES director Roberta Julian participated in a roundtable discussion on the national 'Racism. It Stops with Me' campaign in Moonah’s Multicultural Hub on 28 February 2018. The University of Tasmania was also represented by Professor Margaret Otlowski, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Culture and Wellbeing).

The event was presented by the Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Commissioner, Sarah Bolt and the Federal Race Discrimination Commissioner, Dr Tim Soutphommasane.

The roundtable discussion enabled current ‘Racism. It Stops with Me’ campaign signatories to provide information on their activities as well as an opportunity to explore possible new actions to maintain the motion of the campaign in Tasmania.
