Note:

Whilst no unit specific prerequisites exist, it is strongly recommended that students do not enrol in the unit until they are in their final year of study.

Introduction

This unit is a core unit for students completing degree combinations involving the Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Economics, and is designed to draw together the disciplinary knowledge developed in the constituent parts of their combined degree.  In this unit students will undertake, either individually or in small groups, a project requiring an investigation on an approved cross disciplinary research topic. Once the topic is approved students will be expected to work independently to achieve the outcomes of the project. Students will be encouraged to use a variety of media (e.g. oral, written, and visual) to disseminate their outcomes.  This unit will also prepare students for the research project undertaken in the applied honours program.
