Introduction
This unit introduces students to arranging for small to medium ensembles in a popular music context. Students will apply musical knowledge acquired in Practical Popular Music Theory 1 and 2 to produce arrangements of new and/or existing work. Students will analyse, and apply, idiomatic approaches to voice leading, instrumentation, rhythm, harmony, melody and structure to produce arrangements in popular music styles/genres.
