Introduction

This unit is fundamentally experimental and works with the dynamics of body, space and time for public performance. It explores the possible in the world of physical theatre making. Contemporary theatre performance is not just the spoken word; it is also the language and control of the physical self. Students will work as an ensemble to deliver the power of the moving image on a given human and/or social subject or theme. The unit content will explore and challenge both actor and audience in the making of new and innovative theatre.
