Full-time students will enrol in FSA424 and FSA425 concurrently in the same semester; and part-time students will enrol in FSA424 and FSA425 over two consecutive semesters.
Introduction
In the case of Honours (Studio Professional) candidates, the thesis is a resolved body of art or design work and an accompanying project summary based on your own line of speculative self-directed research, building on the context for the project investigated in the Defining the Field unit, and the work completed for the Studio Project Design and Studio Project Development units. A representative selection from your thesis will be exhibited in the Honours group exhibition.
In the case of Honours (Internship Professional) candidates, the thesis is a professional placement in an arts related business or enterprise that results in a project or projects accompanied by appropriate documentation and a project summary based on the professional activities undertaken, building on the context for the project/s investigated in the Defining the Field unit, and the work completed for the Studio Project Design and Studio Project Development units. The proposed professional placement and the projects are agreed upon in advance through consultation with academic staff of the School and the professional workplace host.
