Hobart, Launceston

This unit has been discontinued.

Introduction

You will be coached in the generation of ideas for art projects through speculative play and experimentation.  Through activities and exercises you will explore the tools of creativity to identify promising opportunities for in depth development.

You will be encouraged to reflect on how this exploration relates to (but isn't determined by) your intellectual, cultural and contextual interests.

You may continue to work within a specific medium or as your exploration dictates adopt other media and processes.  You will participate in critical and analytical discourse and media expertise that is both in-depth and generalised.

The culmination of this unit will be the development of a substantial art work (s) for public presentation that embody this exploration.
