Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). Learning Outcomes
- Describe and explain critical media theories, concepts and methods in your verbal and written work
- Drawing on these theories, identify and explain how media shapes our perception of the world around us in your verbal and written work
- Identify ‘new’ problems within the discipline’s foundational questions to develop research questions that address contemporary social and cultural challenges in a local and/or global context
- Design and develop a research project that incorporates your understanding of the contemporary media and communication approaches presented in this unit.
