Introduction
What does it mean to 'study Asia'? And how might we go about it? What are the important academic debates which shape our understanding of Asia today?
In this unit, you will learn how to closely read and critically analyse some key texts which influence the study of Asia. You will also explore major theoretical and practical issues and problems in Asian Studies. You will also learn to write for different audiences through addressing real world problems in varied written assignments.
