Introduction
This unit explores the increasingly nebulous distinction between domestic and international politics and governance. Starting with core concepts of the state and sovereignty, power and cooperation, and institutions, you will explore the relationship between domestic decision making and global events through contemporary case studies.

- Critically analyse aspects of policy development or international relations showing an awareness of the key concepts, theoretical perspectives and debates.
- Apply relevant theoretical perspectives about governance and international relations to real world examples.
- Communicate clearly, applying referencing and style conventions as appropriate.
