Learning Outcomes
- Apply the concept of Indigenous lifeworlds to generate understanding of the social, cultural, economic and political realities of Palawa life in Tasmania by comparing the similarities and differences of the Palawa lifeworld with that of other distinctive Indigenous peoples.
- Describe the ways in which the criticality of the relationship to Country is expressed and practiced within the Indigenous Lifeworld in Tasmania and elsewhere.
- Explain and reflect how the Indigenous Lifeworld differs from the non-Indigenous Lifeworlds and how Lifeworld differences impact on relations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous groups in Tasmania and Australia.
