Introduction

Evidence Informed Practice for Quality and Safety provides students with an overview of the relationship between research and practice in community care and support. Students will learn about quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods research, and how to identify the appropriate methods for different research questions, settings and subjects. The unit will develop students' capacity to critically evaluate research, and to consider the ethical impacts of research for practitioners, organisations and the broader community.
