Introduction

In Workplace Integrated Learning Practice, students choose a particular focus through which they will further develop their practice as agents of wellbeing and their understanding of community based health and wellbeing issues. Students will take into account their own wellbeing, as well as cultural safety, client perspectives, the roles of other professionals and of organisations' policies and practices. The unit will also build on students' skills in ethics, health promotion and interprofessional practice, through activities focused on community engagement and capacity building.
