Introduction

This third clinical placement unit requires approximately 300 to 400 hours of professional experience at an external placement setting, or settings. Placement settings will encompass a range of client problems, varying age ranges, settings, and use of a variety of clinical skills. More advanced clinical skills, suitable for independent practice as a Registrar working toward Clinical endorsement, will be developed. It is the third and final placement unit in an integrated sequence of placements (totalling 1000 hours) in the clinical training program.
