Introduction
On completion of this unit students will be able to:
- apply the principles of risk management in the context of maritime management and administration;
- identify key risks for maritime and related organisations;
- analyse the effectiveness of risk management strategies;
- analyse the incidence of maritime crisis situations, their causes and the responses of key players involved;
- analyse the effectiveness and long-term impact of decisions made in crisis situations;
- evaluate legislative changes that result from maritime crises and the implementation of such.
