Introduction
Geophysics is a critical tool for mineral exploration. This unit will provide students with practical experience in collecting, processing and interpreting geophysical data sets and how those data sets can be used for ore deposit exploration and characterisation. The unit volume of learning consists of 180 hours of assessment related activity, 40 hours of face-to-face teaching as a 5-day field trip, and a further 20 hours of online interaction.
