Note:

Students wishing to enrol in this unit must have completed an undergraduate degree with a microbiology major with at least a Credit average in 3rdyear undergraduate microbiology units.

Introduction

Students are expected to undertake advanced level, formal study as directed by the supervisor and are required to present a thesis on an approved topic as described under the course structure. The thesis component will represent a variable component of the final result, ranging from 50 to 80%, depending on the student's background. Assessment may include completion of a level 3 unit determined by the supervisor. The School/Discipline will provide specific details on assessment procedure and criteria used.

Enrolment consists of four 25% units as follows:  KLA447, KLA448, KLA452 and KLA453.
