Students wishing to enrol in this unit must have completed an undergraduate degree in a science major with at least a Credit average in 3rdyear undergraduate units.

Introduction

Students are expected to undertake advanced level, formal study as directed by the supervisor and are required to present a thesis on an approved topic as described under the course structure. The thesis component will represent 50% to 80% depending on the student's background.The balance may be made up of a level 3 unit determined by the supervisor and forming part of the final assessment, in addition to continuous assessment involving literature reviews and presentations. The School/Discipline will provide specific details on assessment procedure and criteria used.

Enrolment consists of four 25% units as follows:  KLA462, KLA463, KLA466 and KLA467.
