LGBTIQ+ Tasmanians - Telling us the Story

Associate Professor Angela Dwyer, Deputy Director TILES and Dr Ruby Grant, School of Social Sciences, have been contracted by the Department of Communities Tasmania to conduct the first major Government-funded social survey of LGBTIQ+ Tasmanians.

Assoc Prof Dwyer's and Dr Grant's survey covers LGBTIQ+ people’s experiences in Tasmanian workplaces, educational institutions, healthcare services, emergency services, and the wider community. Results will directly inform the State Government's future policy and action planning relating to LGBTIQ+ Tasmanians and their families.
