Introduction
This unit is the second of two research project units. Students undertake research work under the supervision of a member of academic staff on a topic approved by the School, and produce a thesis document that reports and discusses the findings from this research and also give a formal presentation of their work.

- Critically analyse research outcomes to answer research questions
- Document and communicate the research techniques used to generate research results, and defend a research approach, in an oral presentation and written thesis

Teaching Pattern | Students will complete an independent, research focused project under the guidance of an academic staff member and deliver a thesis that demonstrates an ability to conduct scientific research in an area of ICT. One workshop in Week 1, a 30 minute meeting each fortnight with supervisor and 8-10 hours of independent learning per week throughout the semester. |
