Accounting Context and Method BFA104
Introduction
This unit is a compulsory unit in the accounting major and is an important pre- requisite for second and third-year units.
In this unit you will consider the fundamental principles that underpin accounting, the role that accounting plays in decision making and important technical skills required by our professional accounting bodies.
After completing this unit, you will have knowledge of the fundamental principles of accounting, be able to use financial accounting information to make informed decisions and have a foundational understanding of accounting software.
