Introduction

This unit develops your statistical knowledge through application to accounting information systems. Interpretation and application of the various statistical techniques is emphasised, and limitations and assumptions explored. Accounting information systems are interrogated through their transaction and systems development life cycles and their role in internal control. Statistical analysis is applied to the accounting information system's data to provide recommendations to authentic case studies.
