Introduction

This unit will provide a review of the theory and practice of global education with particular reference to the Australian setting. This unit will focus on global learning as interdependent and interconnected by examining it through three key constructs: ethical behaviour, digital technologies and sustainability. The unit will critique the constructed nature of 'the global' and the global citizenship education literature and discourse. There is a strong focus on using digital technologies as a tool for globalizing curriculum content and learning outcomes.
