Required unit for performance/composition stream majors intending to take the Major Research Project to complete the Master of Music Studies (F7K) and Master of Music (F7E)

FCA445 is a required unit for F4D Bachelor of Music with Honours, and for students in the final year of F4O Bachelor of Music (with Honours).

Introduction

This unit is designed to familiarise students with the major bibliographic sources appropriate for research in music at the postgraduate level. Students will establish a solid foundation in research methodology for future research projects through a variety of research tasks and presentation formats.
