Introduction
Music Industry Projects 3A is devoted to developing students' professional practice in the independent music industries. Students will engage in project based learning activities around the commercial performance, recording, promotion and distribution of original musical works. This unit sees students develop and undertake complex, self-directed music industry projects negotiated with and overseen by teaching staff.

Assessment | Project Report: 50% Project Plan: 20% Tutor's assessment of project progress work: 30% The project report documents the project and critically reflects on the outcome, with reference to the project plan. It provides a summative assessment mechanism for the outcome of each project. The project plan is intended as a formative assessment that requires the student to articulate what they're trying to achieve with their project; identify the project deliverables; and develop a timeline for successful creation / realisation of these deliverables. |
