Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). A unit identified as offered by distance, that is there is no requirement for attendance, is identified with a nominal enrolment campus. Learning Outcomes

  1. Analyse the current debates and developments in strategic communication relevant to the sector in which you complete your internship.
  2. Integrate and apply theory to media and communication practice and the workplace realities and challenges specific to your industry specialisation.
  3. Produce media content that is acceptable to industry standards.
  4. Critically reflect on and discuss your workplace experiences and the content you have produced in the context of major theories and key concepts in media and communication.

Self-directed. Students will be in regular consultation with the Unit Coordinator.

Task 1: Portfolio, 2000 words and work samples (60%)

Task 2: Essay, 2500 words (40%)
