This unit is available to students undertaking Co-operative Education in a BE programme in NCMEH only.
Introduction
In Work Term 4 students should have a greater knowledge and comprehension of their engineering discipline and will be able to engage in various facets of engineering, such as design, analysis, project management, specifications, plans, formal proposals and tender documents. Participation in their selected engineering discipline will be encouraged. Students will have a level of responsibility commensurate with their academic background and experience. During this work term students will continue to use and understand the importance of acquired analytical skills in engineering analysis as well as the application of specifications and codes.
