Introduction
Offshore Safety & Risk Analysis begins with introduction to safety issues, risk terms and terminologies in the marine and offshore industry. The other topics covered in detail are regulatory requirements; lessons learned & risk concepts from past accidents; hazards and risk analysis tools; It will cover topics such as process safety, engineering safety, occupational safety, and safety assessment studies, as well as risk identification, risk modelling, risk assessment, risk-based decision making and risk analysis tools. The unit also includes project and case studies related to safety measure & risk-based design of process system.
