Introduction
This unit covers a wide range of topics such as management and organisation of the air freight industry, economic and market characteristics, airports and aircraft, marketing and pricing
strategies, forecasting, cargo handling and terminal management, which will give you a holistic picture of the air transport industry. Both management and operational issues of air transport
will be covered. The discussion of air transport will focus on the movement of freight of both domestic and global markets. The unit will also introduce you to policies and regulations that govern the air transport industry.
